Indications:

         This drug is indicated in the treatment of diarrhea and of painful symptoms associated with oesophageal-gastric and intestinal diseases

Contraindications:

         Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients

Special Precautions:

         If the symptoms do not improve within 7 days, consult your physician. If pain is associated with fever or vomiting, consult your physician. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicine

Dosage:

         Adult: PO 9 g/day.

         Child: >2 yr: 6-9 g/day; 1-2 yr: 3-6 g/day; <1 yr: 3 g/day. To be admin in 2-3 divided doses. Daily dose can be doubled at the beginning of treatment for acute diarrhoea.
