Contents:

          Ambroxol HCl

Indications:

          Secretolytic therapy in acute & chronic bronchopulmonary diseases associated w/ abnormal mucus secretion & impaired mucus transport.

Contraindications:

          Children < 6 years old

          Known hypersensitivity to ambroxol or other components of Mucosolvan.

          In case of rare hereditary conditions that may be incompatible with an excipient of Mucosolvan (see Precautions).

Special Precautions:

          Mucosolvan 30-mg tablets contain lactose 684 mg per maximum recommended daily dose (120 mg). Patients with rare hereditary galactose intolerance, the Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take Mucosolvan.

          Pregnancy (especially pregnancy during the 1st trimester, the use of Mucosolvan is not recommended) & lactation.

Dosage:

          Adults & Children > 12 years old: 1 tablet 3 times daily. The therapeutic effect may be enhanced by administering 2 tablet 2 times daily and should be taken with liquid. Children 6-12 years: ¹/₂ tablet 2 times daily.
