Contents:

          Per mL/g Neomycin sulfate 3.5 mg, polymyxin B sulfate 6,000 iu, dexamethasone 1 mg.

Indications:

          Steroid-responsive inflammatory ocular conditions for which a corticosteroid is indicated & where bacterial infection or a risk of bacterial ocular infection exists.

Contraindications:

          Epithelial herpes simplex keratitis, vaccinia, varicella & other viral diseases of the cornea & conjunctiva. Mycobacterial infection of the eye. Fungal diseases of ocular structures. After uncomplicated removal of a corneal foreign body.

Special Precautions:

          Prolonged use, diseases causing thinning of cornea or sclera. Acute purulent eye conditions.

Dosage:

          Eye susp 1-2 drops hrly in severe disease, 4-6 hrly in mild infection. Oint 1-1.5 cm tds-qds, may be used adjunctively w/ eye drops at bedtime.
