FLIXONASE NASAL SPRAY

Contents:

          Fluticasone propionate

Indications:

          Prophylaxis & treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis including hay fever & perennial rhinitis.

 

 

Contraindications:

 

          Hypersensitivity to fluticasone propionate or to any of the ingredients of Flixonase.

Special Precautions:

          Infections of the nasal airways. Caution when transferring patients from systemic steroid treatment. Avoid co-administration w/ ritonavir. Pregnancy.

Dosage:

          Adult & childn >12 yr 2 sprays into each nostril once daily, preferably in the morning. In some cases, 2 sprays into each nostril bd may be required. Max daily dose: 4 sprays into each nostril. Childn 4-11 yr 1 spray into each nostril once daily. In some cases, 1 spray into each nostril bd may be required. Max daily dose: 2 sprays into each nostril.
