Contents :

  • Miconazole nitrate

Indications :

  • Therapeutic & prophylactic treatment of candidosis of oropharyngeal cavity & GIT.

Contraindications:

  • Liver disease. Infants <6 mth.

Adverse drugs reactions :  W/ long-term treatment, diarrhoea may occur. Rarely skin rash, swelling & itching. Nausea, vomiting, choking, hepatitis

Dosage:

  • Adult & childn ≥2 yr ½ measuring spoon qds, infant 6 mth to 2 yr ¼ measuring spoon qds. Missed dose should be taken as the next dose at the usual time.
