Contents:

         Ipratropium Br 0.5 mg, salbutamol 2.5 mg

Indications:

         Management of reversible bronchospasm associated w/ obstructive airways diseases in patients who require more than a single bronchodilator.

Contraindications:

         Hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy or tachyarrhythmia. Hypersensitivity to atropine/its derivatives.

Special Precautions:

         Patients predisposed to glaucoma, insufficiently controlled DM, recent MI, severe organic heart or vascular disorders, patients w/ underlying severe heart disease, hyperthyroidism, phaeochromocytoma, risk of narrow-angle glaucoma, prostatic hypertrophy or bladder neck obstruction, hypoxia, cystic fibrosis. Patients w/ hepatic or renal insufficiency. Pregnancy & lactation. Not indicated for ped patients.

Dosage:

          Acute attacks: 1 unit dose vial. In severe cases not relieved by 1 unit dose vial, the administration of the 2nd unit dose vial may be required; patients should consult a doctor immediately. Maintenance: 1 unit dose vial tds or qds.
