        Loratadine

Indications:

        Relief of symptoms associated w/ allergic rhinitis eg sneezing, nasal discharge (rhinorrhea) & itching, as well as ocular itching & burning; signs & symptoms of chronic urticaria & other allergic dermatologic disorders.

Contraindications:

        Hypersensitivity or idiosyncrasy to any of the components of Clarityne.

Special Precautions:

        Severe liver impairment. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn <2 yr.

Dosage:

          Adult & childn ≥12 yr, 6-12 yr (>30 kg) 1 tab or 2 tsp, (≤30 kg) 1/2 tab or 1 tsp; 2-6 yr (>30 kg) 2 tsp, (≤30 kg) 1 tsp. Doses to be taken once daily..
