Indications:

          ENT, bronchopulmonary, cutaneous & bone infections. Prophylaxis of meningococcal meningitis when rifampicin is contraindicated. Toxoplasmosis in pregnant women.

Contraindications:

          Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients

Special Precautions:

          Lactation.

Dosage:

          Toxoplasmosis, resp tract, skin & soft tissue infections Adult 3 MIU bd. Resp tract, skin & soft tissue infections Childn >20 kg 1.5-3 MIU bd, 10-20 kg 0.75-1.5 MIU bd, up to 10 kg 0.375-0.75 MIU bd. For severe infections, dosage can be doubled.
