Indications:

          Treatment of Fe deficiency & prevention of folate deficiency in nonpregnant adults. Prevention & treatment of Fe deficiency in pregnancy & to supplement a maintenance dosage of folic acid.

Contraindications:

          Pernicious anemia. Repeated blood transfusions or parenteral Fe therapy.
