Contents:

          Per 5 mg/5 mg tab Perindopril arginine 5 mg, amlodipine besylate 5 mg

          Per 5 mg/10 mg tab Perindopril arginine 5 mg, amlodipine besylate 10 mg.

          Per 10 mg/5 mg tab Perindopril arginine 10 mg, amlodipine besylate 5 mg.

          Per 10 mg/10 mg tab Perindopril arginine 10 mg, amlodipine besylate 10 mg

Indications:

          Substitution treatment of essential HTN &/or stable coronary artery disease in patients already controlled w/ perindopril & amlodipine given concurrently at the same dose level.

Contraindications:

          Hypersensitivity to other ACE inhibitors & dihydropyridines. Patients w/ history of angioedema associated w/ previous ACE inhibitor therapy; hereditary or idiopathic angioedema; severe hypotension; cardiogenic shock; high-grade aortic stenosis; unstable angina pectoris (excluding Prinzmetal's angina), heart failure during the 1st 28 days after acute MI. Galactose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption or Lapp lactase deficiency. 2nd & 3rd trimesters of pregnancy. Childn.

Special Precautions:

          Patients at high risk of symptomatic hypotension, mitral valve & aortic stenosis, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Black patients. Discontinue 1 day prior to major surgery. Diabetes. Monitor serum K. Renal & hepatic impairment, cardiac failure. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Lactation. Elderly.

Dosage:

          1 tab once daily.
