Contents:

          Aspirin 324 mg, Na bicarbonate 1.7 g, citric acid 1.2 g

Indications:

          Relief of headache w/ upset stomach. Body aches, pain & neuralgia, for simple sore throat as a gargle.

Contraindications:

          Hypersensitivity to aspirin. Gastric & duodenal ulcers; haemorrhagic diathesis. Renal impairment; heart failure. Pregnancy (esp last 3 mth).

Special Precautions:

          Renal/hepatic disorders; chronic or recurrent gastric/duodenal complaints; asthma; G6PD deficiency. Onset of persistent vomiting may be a sign of Reye's syndrome (immediate treatment). Patients on blood-thinning medication. Bleeding problems. Allergic disorders, Na-restricted diet, impaired renal or hepatic function. Lactation. Childn <16 yr.

Dosage:

          Adult 2 tab dissolved in a glass of water 4 hrly (max: 8 tab/24 hr).
