Contents:

          Desloratadine.

Indications:

          Rapid relief of symptoms associated w/ allergic rhinitis (including intermittent & persistent allergic rhinitis) eg sneezing, nasal discharge & itching, congestion/stuffiness, ocular itching, tearing & redness, itching of palate & coughing. Symptomatic relief of urticaria eg itching & the size & number of hives.

Contraindications:

          Hypersensitivity to desloratadine, loratadine or to any of the excipients of Aerius.

Special Precautions:

          May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Tab: Childn <12 yr; syr: Childn <1 yr. Pregnancy & lactation.

Dosage:

          Tab Adult & childn ≥12 yr 1 tab once daily. Syr Adult & childn ≥12 yr 10 mL; 6-11 yr 5 mL; 2-5 yr 2.5 mL. Urticaria Childn 1-2 yr 2.5 mL. Doses to be taken once daily.
