Contents:

          Mupirocin 2%.

Indications:

          Bactroban cream Secondarily infected traumatic lesions due to susceptible strains of Staph aureus & Strep pyogenes. Bactroban oint Bacterial skin infections eg impetigo, folliculitis & furunculosis. Bactroban Nasal Elimination of nasal carriage of staphylococci, including MRSA.

Contraindications:

          Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients

Special Precautions:

          Oint: Not for ophth or intranasal use. Moderate or severe renal impairment. Nasal oint: Not for ophth use.

Dosage:

          Bactroban cream/oint Apply to affected area up to tds for up to 10 days. Area may be covered w/ a dressing or occluded if desired. Bactroban Nasal oint Apply to the anterior nares bd-tds.
